Tripping of power transmission lines caused a power cut in Mumbai, says TATA Power.
The power cut in Mumbai has been in the talk of the week. State-run- BEST has blamed TATA enterprise for the recent power cut all over Maharashtra. Tata group utility has informed that the tripping of power transmission lines triggered the power cut.
Tata Power has stated that a process in which power is supplied from the central power unit to a local grid area failed in the Trombay unit that led to a drop in power load and eventually the power cut.
